LOCKED MY BAG WITHOUT CONSENT. Had to have my zippers cut upon arrival in Costa Rica.

More than 3 hours of delay and not even a snack was given.
The inflight entertainment did not work on a 6 hour flight The cel phone chargers did not work There was a 45 minute wait for the luggage to get off the plane.
Boarding was very expedite. The chairs are fixed you can't rest comfortable during the flight.
Awful. I checked in online and there was no option to pay for baggage, at the airport when I checked in my baggage was received and Iwas not charged. When I got to LA during the boarding process I was told I didn't pay for baggage, the crew resolved I was let in the plane. When I got to my final destination my baggage was not there. It took me two days to receive my baggage. Bad service ever!
It is better at the jfk than my home country. It was very easy and everything was on time.
My experience was amazing! They helped my elderly mother board on early through a wheelchair and were accommodating to have us sit together since our seats were in different locations. When landing at the airport in GUA they were very helpful with full of hospitality.
Delay almost an hour which meant when we got to Guatemala there where 3 flights at the same time, you can imagine the caos in customs, avianca doesn’t care about passengers or schedules
Discomfort has become a feature in Avianca flights. That isn’t terrible on short, local flights (most of them 1-2 Hrs)… but a 7-Hr flight with no water, no coffeee, no nothing (unless you buy it) is just not right. Uncomfortable seats, almost inhuman space between chairs, in long-haul flights needs to be reviewed by airline. And unavailable entertainment system doesn’t help either. Flight was safe and on-time, which isn’t easy to achieve. But all other features aren’t features: they’re a modern way of torture. Avianca really needs to up their game, or bluntly declare: we’re an ultra low-cost airline, and fees will drop accordingly.
Avianca: you pay for a high-end flight and you fly like a low (very low) cost!
Overall it was a good experience. Stewards were very kind and professional. The departure and arrival times were as promised. Plane was clean.
The agent at the check in desk was absolutely rude. The rest of the team after that was good, but the check in process at LAS was miserable. The woman at the desk spoke like we were stupid and was rude throughout the process.
Check in easy, price very good, no frills flying tho! Pay for Every item once seat is paid for so do the math with baggage fees and carry on fees.
The flight experience was terrible. Extra bag charges were exorbitant, and the customer service was incredibly poor. Flight attendants were rude and unhelpful. Post-flight, we endured a one-hour wait for our luggage, only to find our bags severely damaged. Overall, a highly disappointing experience with Spirit Airlines. Not recommended.
The price was good, but the seats was too little too cramped. You guys nickel and dime the person who’s flying all food even water that’s ridiculous. I’ll be flying with somebody else unless this changes.
They changed the time first and then canceled flight in last minute. Put me into another flight which had connection. It took me extra 5 hours to get to home. One of the worst experience ever.

Well they first cancelled my flight due to weather which is understandable… but then rebooked flight in reverse .. I caught it and had it taken care of but then they changed it to fly in at 11pm Saturday returning Sunday Morning at 6 am to fly out instead of Monday like promised … so I had to pay another flight just to get home … also told me it would be 72hrs to a week to figure things out … I don’t plan on using Spirit ever again.. I have another booked and trying to figure out how to change it and go with another airline
Low cost flight. The plane had all the passengers waiting on the tarmac for over 2 hours! The offered no food or drink to compensate for the delay. Also, the pilot did not give enough updates on the delay leaving many of the passengers wondering what was going on and when they were actually going to be able to get off the plane.
